Maintenance Supervisor position – LM – 0626 – 1

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage all maintenance operations related to elevators, escalators, and moving walk systems. The role requires supervising a team of technicians and ensuring the efficient execution of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and callback attendance. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, ensuring customer satisfaction, and enforcing safety and quality standards.

Experience Required: Minimum 8-9 Years
Driving License: Valid GCC Driving License (Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance technicians engaged in elevator and escalator maintenance activities.
• Manage and oversee preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, troubleshooting, and callback services for all assigned units.
• Ensure timely attendance and resolution of customer complaints, service calls, and equipment shutdowns.
• Investigate recurring faults and implement corrective actions to reduce callbacks and improve equipment reliability.
• Conduct site visits and technical inspections to assess equipment condition and maintenance quality.
• Support technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
• Monitor technician performance and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and service standards.
• Plan manpower allocation and daily work schedules to ensure efficient service coverage.
• Review maintenance reports, service records, and callback reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure spare parts, tools, and materials are available for maintenance and repair activities.
• Liaise with customers, building management, consultants, and internal departments regarding maintenance issues and service performance.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to maintenance technicians.
• Monitor equipment performance indicators and identify opportunities for service improvement.
• Prepare monthly operational reports covering maintenance activities, repair works, callbacks, and team performance.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 8 – 9 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry, including maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and fault diagnosis.
• Proven experience supervising maintenance technicians and managing field service operations.
• Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator systems, controls, safety devices, and industry standards.
• Experience handling customer complaints, breakdowns, and callback management.
