About the Role

FAM Advisory is seeking a proac ve Junior Accountant to support one of our key clients in the Li & Elevator Manufacturing, Installa on, Maintenance, and Repair Industry. This role is ideal for an accountant with 2–3 years of experience who is strong in accoun ng systems, inventory management, and repor ng. The successful candidate will support the Senior Accountant in maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day transac ons, and ensuring ERP data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Process sales invoices, supplier invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate records within Odoo ERP and ensure timely system updates.
• Assist in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities.
• Track and maintain Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs) and payment schedules.
• Support inventory management, stock reconciliations, and inventory reporting.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier, and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documentation for monthly closing.
• Assist in VAT documentation and compliance requirements.
• Generate routine financial, inventory, and operational reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding accounting documentation.

Reporting To: Senior Accountant / FAM Advisory Engagement Manager

Requirements

• 2–3 years of accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related
• Strong hands-on experience with Odoo
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft
• Experience in inventory accounting and stock
• Familiarity with UAE accounting practices and VAT
• Experience with accounting software such as Odoo, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or
• Strong attention to detail and organizational

Industry Experience Preferred

Experience in manufacturing, trading, engineering, contracting, technical services, elevators/lifts, or inventory-driven businesses will be an advantage.
